During this period more than 42 lakh people from all countries have been infected with Corona. More than a quarter of a million people have died tragically. When the corona crisis started, there was a nominal production of a single PPE kit and N95 mask in India. Today 2 lakh PPE and 2 lakh N95 masks are being made in India. We were able to do this because India turned disaster into an opportunity. This vision of India is going to prove equally effective for a self-reliant India.
20 lakh crore rupees economic package: Facing the Corona crisis, I announce a special economic package with a new resolution. This will serve as a link to the Atmnirbhar Bharat Campaign. Recently, the economic announcements made by the government related to the Corona crisis, which was the decisions of RBI, and the economic package which is being announced today, it is about 20 lakh crores. This package is about 10 percent of India’s GDP. Through this, various sections of the economic system will get a support of Rs 20 lakh crore.
Lockdown 4 will be completely different: The fourth phase of Lockdown, Lockdown 4, will be completely redesigned. There will be new rules. Based on the suggestions we are getting from the states, information related to Lockdown 4 will also be given to you before 18 May.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his address to the nation made it clear that now people’s lives have changed as compared to earlier and now they will have to live with Corona for a long time.
