Coronavirus Covid-19 has brought the whole world to its knees, people are forced to self quarantine. Amid this pandemic, a moment of relief has come from Goa. Goa chief minister Pramod Sawant informed that the last coronavirus patient out of seven has been discharged on Sunday 19th April.
Promod sawant tweeted “ A moment of satisfaction and relief for Goa as the last active Covid-19 case tests negative. Team of Doctors and entire support staff deserves applause for their relentless effort. No new positive case in Goa after 3rd April 2020 ”
On 18th March, First corona case was detected in a leader who returned from Dubai. Later there were 7 cases till 3rd April but now Goa stands at Zero after the last patient test report found negative.
Chief minister Pramod Sawant thanked doctors and supporting staff for their effort to combat the outbreak. There is some relaxation of lockdown restrictions from today but it is compulsory to maintain social distancing as per guidelines of Ministry of Home affairs. However section 144 will continue to be in place, four or more people are not allowed to gathered at one place.
