Today, PM Modi reached Odisha and Chhattisgarh to launch a series of projects. In Odisha, he will reveal a plaque marking the revival of fertilizer plant at Talcher and with it also inaugurate Jharsuda airport. Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik received PM Modi in Talcher, after that he met and interacted with Anganwadi workers just after his arrival.
This fertilizer plant at Talcher is the foremost plant in India which will have a coal gasification-based fertilizer unit. It will also produce natural gas and will be commissioned by 2022. This pant will guarantee the easy availability of urea in Odisha as till date there is no urea plant in the state.
On the other hand, the inauguration of Jharsuguda airport by PM Modi will bring western Odisha on India’s aviation map. It will also smooth the progress of regional air connectivity through government’s UDAN scheme. Following it, PM Modi will visit Janjgir town of Chhattisgarh to address a Kisan Sammelan. Here he will lay the foundation stone for many development projects which will cost more than 3000 crore rupees.
Yesterday PM Modi tweeted ‘I look forward to visiting Orissa tomorrow. I would visit Talcher to join the scheduled program marking the start of work in Talcher Fertilizer plant. After that, I will also be in Jharsuguda to inaugurate the local airport. Many projects comprising the Garjanbahal coal mines and Jharsuguda –Barapali-Sardega rail link will be dedicated to Nation ‘.
Pm Modi also said regarding his Chattisgarh visit ‘I am glad to be visiting Chattisgarh tomorrow and shall be in Jangir Champa. Here I will lay stone for highway projects and a railway line too. I will be visiting exhibitions on agriculture and handlooms sectors ‘.
PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone of Bilaspur- Patharpali Four Lane road of 1607 crores. Along with this the foundation stone of Bilaspur-Anuppur third rail line project of about 1697 crores 79 lacs in Janjgir. Bilaspur- Patharpali project will be built by the National Highway Authority of India under the Central Road Transport as well as Highway Ministry. On the other hand, Bilaspur-Anuppur section will take rail traffic from Bilaspur in Chattisgarh to Anuppur district head office. The in all length of this new railroad will be approx 152 km, out of which 119.55km will be in Chhattisgarh, and 32.45 km will be in MP. The total construction cost of this project will be approx 696 crores 79 lakh rupees.
At this program, all ministers of Chhattisgarh government comprising CM Raman Singh, Highway Minster & Union Road Transport Nitin Gadkari, and Chhattisgarh Speaker Gaurishankar Aggarwal along with State Minister of State for Steel Vishnudev Sai will be present in the program of PM Modi today.
The primary goal is to take India to new heights of growth and development. The projects of the fertilizer plant are the core of the expansion and growth story of our country. This new and innovative plant will use the latest technology.
