Today, AICC chief Rahul Gandhi, said in a meeting with a journalist in Indore ‘ if in case an inquiry starts into the Rafale deal, for sure PM Modi is going to jail. It is an open and shut case.’ Congress President Rahul Gandhi responded to senior journalists at Indore and brought very serious allegations against PM Modi. On asking on his jibes against PM Modi, Rahul Gandhi replied that Modi is not alleged to be corrupt but actually a corrupt man.

Rahul Gandhi added while pressing on with his attack on corruption under BJP government. ‘I am not saying this, in fact, former French President who has exposed the Rafale deal. He said that PM Modi took this decision unilaterally and carelessly handled 30000 crore rupees deal with Anil Ambani. I believe that an investigation is about to begin in France and it’s a matter of time that Modi goes to jail.’

He reiterated that CBI chief was removed due to the reason that he was about to open an investigation into the Rafale deal. Rahul Gandhi admitted when asked about CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s threat to file a defamation suit. He admitted that he made a slip up by naming Chouhan’s family in Panama papers. He also jibed that ‘BJP guys are drawn in  numerous scams that I lost the track.’

When asking about his viewpoint on Sabarimala controversy, Rahul Gandhi said ‘as per my personal opinion women are equal to men and should be permitted to enter the temple. However, my party unit in Kerala has a much different view regarding it. It is a very much emotional matter with men and women in Kerala. There is a difference of opinion with my party unit on Sabarimala matter; however, I am going with the party’.

Regarding his temple tour, Rahul Gandhi said that ‘do PM Modi and Amit Shah have atheka on Hinduism? I can go anywhere, and in any temple I want.’ When asking about that Congress party was embracing Hindutva, he supposed that ‘Hinduism hold everyone, it is inclusive and respects others. On the other side, the BJP brand of Hindutva starts with anger and divisiveness. Congress is a party of Hinduism and not at all of Hindutva.’

On asking his views on the possibility of BJP bringing an ordinance on Ram Mandir issue, Rahul Gandhi said that this was perhaps the only thing left with BJP to do. ‘ Aur Bacha Kya Hai, Kuch Nahi Bacha Hai as nothing is left.’

In all Rahul Gandhi was on an attack mode in Indore today and lambasted Modi by saying that his landing up in jail is final, no matter of time now. He assured that the inquiry regarding the Rafale deal would be starting in France very soon. He said that PM Modi had twisted and also broken the law to shield Anil Ambani. Now Rafale is just the beginning, and many more such cases will be uncovered with the passage of time.
